How I work
Every place I work on is read through eight questions a person could answer without any planning vocabulary, three lenses, and one principle underneath: is that true for everyone who lives here, and for those who come after?
The answers come from census and spatial data, structural trends, shocks and stresses, and lived experience where the data can't answer the question. Then they turn into advice a decision-maker can act on.
It works in three steps: understand the place, interpret what the evidence says, and apply it to the plan, the policy or the investment.
